friday night, am home blogging again.. ok this is getting repetitive.

anw! im sure some of u heard abt the incident at my workplace? those of u that saw my facebook post at least.

well for the benefit of those that didnt, a recap:

on tuesday morning, part of the ceiling came down on my colleague. she sits directly opposite from me. i wasnt there to witness the incident, was out of office for testing. apparently one of the wooden beams attached to the structure of the roof (my office is on the highest floor) broke off, crashed through the ceiling and in the process broke off some of the ceiling panals, which all came crashing down on my poor colleague, including the wooden beam which missed her head by mere inches.

this goes to show that even at work ur not safe! goodness gracious me. the whole place was in a mess, and workers and engineers were called in. eventually they removed the whole ceiling panals, so now when you look up you see the tin roof and what's left of the structure. as a result, the whole place is perpetually dusty and i never fail to sneeze when i enter the office every morning. its not the whole office tt got affected, just my section, which is at the back end of the office. 5 of us colleagues are located there.

so my colleague, the one whom the ceiling came down on, was taken to hospital. thankfully no broken bones or anything, but it seems that the falling debris did hit her on one side, so the last i heard she was suffering from migraine on one side of her head, and has some minor bruises. she hasnt come in to work since then. i feel so sorry for her :(

repair works have already begun on the ceiling, but its gonna take them ages to complete cos the workers only come in every evening around 6pm so im assuming they cant stay and work that long.

DRAMA OK!! -____-"

ok on to other things..

am finally finally done with testing and wont have to travel 1000 miles to the far ends of spore. WHOOT! however, will soon have data analysis to work on which im dreading cos i have yet to revisit and revise my SPSS.

this wk wasnt so bad, thanks to monday being a public holiday, so time passed faster. why cant they make every monday a public holiday?

i have tons of library books rotting at home, overdue and waiting to be read.. but every night im too tired and can only manage to read a few chapters, sometimes none at all.. i really miss having the time to read! yeah i know that now that im working, i shouldnt be borrowing books but i cant help it! everytime i go into a library i usually end up picking up something. i think i was a librarian in my past life. or a nerd. or both.

if only i were this studious when it comes to reading textbooks right? or my spss book. hahaha. hai!!
