u know my mum always tells me dont take the lift on exam days in case it breaks down? ok i thought she was overly paranoid. well guess what? the lift broke down today while i was inside it!
but but BUT
1) i had just come back from sch AFTER my exam
2) it didnt exactly break down, more like stalled and power shut off
3) i WAS able to get out
ok lemme explain. cos before me there was this whole group of sec sch kids, about 8-9 of them, i cant remember how many, who ALL got into the lift. and obviously cos there wasnt space, i let them go up first.
well the lift at my flat here is really small, and it can only take 8 pple max and even then with 5 pple and it's very full already. so all those kids went up at once. the lift came back down for me and i got in and pressed "13" (my floor is the 14th). the lift went up and then stopped at level 5. the door didnt automatically open so i did cos i assumed someone was getting in from that floor. but there was no one. so i thought "hmm thats weird.. maybe they decided to take the stairs or something" and proceeded to close the lift door.
and then the lift just stalled there and didnt move. u know the sound of a power generator dying out? yeah thats the noise it started to make and then the lights began to flicker.
so i was like OMG OMG OMG *panics* and pressed the "door open" button and THANK GOD it opened!!!!! so i climbed all the way from the 5th floor up to the 14th. normally if wouldnt have been so bad but i just had a morning paper and was so tired. so by the time i climbed all the way up i was half dead.
now im too scared to take the lift and i wonder if anyone got trapped it in after me? stupid, inconsiderable kids. its cos of them the lift got screwy. just my luck to come across these kind of pple.
so i have another exam tmr.. gotta go study 4 it now though thats the very last thing i wanna do.. so sick of this.. today wrote 3 essays and my whole hand is numb.. it hurts to type.. hurts to move.. argh..
*grumble grumble*
